Jericho Road Church is a non-denominational church that affirms the historical faith of orthodox Christianity. Which is a rather dull way of saying we believe what faithful Christians have always believed throughout history across cultures. These convictions, in summary, are pretty straightforward:
We believe that at the heart of the universe stands a God who created the heavens and the earth out of His love, for His joy and glory. We believe that we were created by Him to be in loving relationship with Him and with each other, and to care for His creation. We believe sin and brokenness entered the world through humanity’s disobedience. We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, whose story is revealed for all generations in Scripture, is the only hope of redemption for our broken world. We believe that through Christ's work on the cross and the resurrection, creation has been saved. We believe the Church has been called to be part of the Holy Spirit's mission of mercy in our world as part of the ongoing story of God's restoration.
